Dearest agnostics has this happened to you where you became angry? And did the other members observe this happening with an agnostic? I don't spend too much time with agnostics in real life to test this out nor have I tried testing it either with any agnostic I know. Or do you any of you view this image as completely false?

I’ve met a few, but I think I’ve met more atheists that do this exact thing

Its mostly atheists that are insufferable, angry, snobbish, and have the personality of cancer. Agnostics I have always thought are much less so, at least the agnostics I've met.

It’s true, at least in my experience with Atheists. Many lean left wing or far left, often very smug and snobby. I often resist getting grouped into the same category with them as an Agnostic my self.

I think its due to the atheists having a chip on their shoulder and rebelling against their religious parents/society or whatever and hate the very idea of God while agnostics have no gripe or bone to pick with either side. They simply believe they cannot be sure that there is a God one way or another.

Amazing how many atheists claim they are atheist on the basis of arguments that are essentially agnostic. So when one points this out, they get angry - and are forced to admit their agnosticism.
Their anger comes from deep-seated issues in their childhood whereby 'God' as a concept was represented to them in a bad way. This occurs because of that most insidious idea: Sacramentarianism. This is essentially that religion is used as a tool by atheists to attempt to control the masses. In South Africa, the apartheid regime used Christianity like this and thereby turned many people away from God. After having suffered their tyranny, it truly is a miracle that I consider myself Christian - it can only have occurred due to direct witness of the spirit of Christ and John. The Sacramentarians are the worst form of religion - genuine wolves in sheep clothing. Be very careful, all that glisters is not gold.

I call myself an atheist, because I don't believe in God - that's what atheism mean. Doesn't change the fact that I am an agnostic indeed. Have no idea why anybody would "get angry" because of that. Maybe they just have no idea that agnosticism is rather philosophical term invented in 19th century. Were there no agnostics before 19th century?

I also think some people don't believe in God because there was a time God said no when they wanted something from God and it made them angry so they go with He doesn't exist then. However, God is not here to be our genie and the sooner someone realizes He's not here to worship us but to be worshipped then they'll get less no's and more yes.

Its also an inability to appreciate that the positive only has meaning compared to the negative. If God granted all our wishes there would be no satisfaction with the Universe. Stars look nicest when the night is darkest. But some people have childhood demands that have not been met lurking in their subconscious. The trick is to try and bring those needs to the surface.

Interesting question. But the debate about God has raged since antiquity. There is a fundamental difference between believing God does NOT exist, and not entirely believing nor disbelieving. You either claim he does NOT exist or you are unsure of the matter. It makes no logical sense to claim both. There is no fundamental difference. You can tell you don't believe in God, and after someone asks you if you're sure about that he doesn't exist, you can respond "no". DO YOU BELIEVE IN DEITIES? You believe in deities - theist You don't believe in deities - atheist ARE YOU SURE DEITIES DON'T EXIST? You are that deities don't exist - agnostic You are sure they don't exist - not an agnostic These are two different questions. Whether you're atheist or not is an answer for one. Whether you're an agnostic or not, is an answer to another. You really need to read up on set-theory and logic. Lets put it into a simpler example. I can reckon that NASA put a man on the moon. I can reckon that they faked it. I can be unsure as to whether or not it was real. 1) Certainly yes. 2) Certainly no. 3) Uncertain. Now apply this to God. Certain positive: Theist Certain negative: aTheist Uncertain: agnostic. Any other options are garbled and illogical.
