Where did Jesus use incense you still didn't tell me? Incense in the verse you quoted isn't burning even but mean bringing glory to His name. Do not think that I came to break the law or the prophets - I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill. The Gospel of Matthew 5:17 No show me the verses where He prayed with incense. That verse just says He followed the 10 commandments and fulfilled prophecies.

Why did you quote this scripture? John 8: 6-7 NIV [6] They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. [7] When they kept on questioning him... You’re not really making sense with these scriptures you’re posting shrug

Prophecy says that people in every place will bring incense ... where do you do this? Like this Let my prayer go, like incense before your face, the raising up of my hands as an evening sacrifice "(Psalm 140: 2) The simile word "like" doesn't mean burn incense it means the prayer flies up or goes to God when you pray. It flies up like incese or like a balloon. But you don't burn anything or fly balloons. The tax collector prayed beating his chest and his prayer flew to God and he was justified.

Elizabeth DKTrav88 For those people who say that they are observing the Bible, and the Orthodox Church is not: Sola Scriptura The grass withers, the color fades, but the word of our God will endure forever "(Isaiah 40: 6,. God is revealed to us as He who is "yesterday, today, and forever" (Hebrews 13: 8). In another text it is said that God has "no change, and no shadow of change" (James 1:17. 1: 2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; - (Titus 1: 2) Does your church use incense? Scripture - Let my prayer go, like incense before your face, the raising up of my hands as an evening sacrifice "(Psalm 140: 2). In the Jerusalem temple incense was burned on a special altar as a sacrifice to God (Exodus 30: 1-10, Mal 1:11;) Will you say this is the Old Testament? But then SHOW me please a place from the Scripture where incense is canceled in the New . There is no such place in the New Testament, and it means it must and continues to be used further (read the text above, God did not change in his Word) My Church uses frankincense because that's what God said in Scripture. Claims that we have something that is not in the Bible is a lie and an example of incense is one of these .. but this is a long story .. I explain to you simple things/In the Gospel, incense is mentioned as one of the gifts brought by the magi to Jesus Christ, along with gold and myrrh (Matthew 2:11). -One time, when he served in the order of his time before God, 9 by lot, as was usually the case with the priests, he got to enter the temple of the Lord for incense- (Luke 1: 8-9) And at last - 1:11 For from the east of the sun to the west my name will be great among the nations, and in every place they will bring incense to my name, a pure sacrifice; Great is my name among the Gentiles, says the LORD of hosts. Malachi 1:11 So God says one thing, but Protestants do not see it ... only the words from them that they use only the Bible. Empty demagoguery from the Protestants. Where is place Scripture, which forbids the use of incense in prayer and in the temple? Pretty sure Jesus didn’t tell us to burn incense

It's either God lied or God accepted his prayer without incense. Which is it?

DKTrav88 Do not answer so ... bring a place from the Scriptures! If this is your only authority.. For from the east of the sun to the west my name will be great among the nations, and in every place they will bring incense to my name, a pure sacrifice; Great is my name among the Gentiles, says the LORD of hosts. Malachi

Prophecy says that they will do it! It says they will pray and the prayer will fly to God like incense or like a balloon and be heard. Or else you're saying Jesus...God...lied when He said the tax collector was justified when he prayed and beat his chest without burning stupid things. It's either God lied or God accepted his prayer without incense. Which is it? Rememer this please - Christians always brought incense in the Church ... only the post-Calvinists rejected it ... did the Christians really err? But then the gates of hell got over the Church.
