How do you make the difference between date and hanging arou

Well for a girl to know it is a date make sure you say something like... "Hey we seem to have fun together. Would you like to go out with me? I was hoping to take you to dinner." Or something like, "I really enjoy spending time with you. Would you go on a date with me next time for maybe coffee or something?" You must be clear it is a date otherwise you will just be hanging out with her and be friendzoned.Just don't ask a complete stranger to a date because most of the time it wont work. Let them get to know you a little first so you don't seem creepy.
