There are disagreements within Christianity as a whole about whether homosexuality should be accepted by Christians and Christian Churches.
Let us discuss this issue amongst ourselves here in this thread.
For a foundation, we must start somewhere, so let’s start with scripture. What does it say?
Genesis 19:4-9 KJV

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, [10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Jude 1:7 KJV
[7] Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
As we can see, homosexuality is not acceptable according to the scriptures. It is an abomination, punishable by death, and it would seem those who do these kind of abominations are violent people(as recorded in Genesis), given over to vile affections, the lusts of their hearts, and a reprobate mind. Sodom, Gomorrah, and the surrounding cities were shown to us as an example of what will happen to places that commit these abominations, the punishment being eternal fire, as these people will not inherit the kingdom of God.
To further iterate homosexuality being unacceptable, we can quote other scripture that tells us the intention of God’s creation.

[27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Genesis 2:24 KJV
[24] Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

[2] Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
