Has anyone had the experience of feeling extremely selective about who to reach out to during strong depressive episodes? In my experience, I feel like I will strongly want to reach out to a favorite person even if doing so might be social suicide (especially if I don’t know the favorite person). I will not feel the same way about reaching out so someone I genuinely know well even if that person may be help to help in a given situation.

Hey there Zishim!
Yes I have been doing this quite some time. I will strongly reach out to only a specific group of people and particularly only one person who I will completely devastate his phone with messages and desperately want to speak to him. I start to separate from everybody else and kind of do my own thing until the episode is over. I also open up to people I don't know just like you described which might end up bad for us both, heh. So be careful with what you do my man!
