Let's say you have a spouse. Your parents and your spouse had a disagreement and they asked you who you're siding with. So who would you side with?
If it matters what the disagreement is to you then vote based on who you think you'd side with more often with all scenarios considered.

It's difficult .. everything depends on the situation! It is necessary to follow the parents but in separate situations they may not know what is beneficial to their child! Shrug

I will side with spouse most often since we're a unit or act as one now. Parents are separate from us. Shrug Genesis 2:24 24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Plus, I usually always disliked siding with parents so I love this verse I quoted

I side with who's right regardless of absolutely anything including whatever relationship, blood, spousal, or otherwise. Its the only moral thing to do.

Well, you aren’t married to your parents, though you should honor them. Your spouse is supposed to be your other half, the most important person in your life. I’m Christian so of course I’m going to resort to my authority, which says a man is to leave his parents and cleave or join unto his wife and they two shall be one flesh. A man should honor his parents but once he leaves their house he isn’t subject to their rules, a man is to rule his own house.
I myself have had many disagreements with my parents living in and outside their house and I don’t suspect disagreements will ever stop happening. I’d imagine my spouse would disagree with them too on many things as my spouse would 99.9999% of the time agree with me or have the same beliefs as I do. There are an endless number of scenarios that can be thrown around, but in the end you should heavily support your spouse, you married him/her for a reason and you took a vow in marriage.

There's 10! I'm talking specifically about number 5! Honoring is different than choosing! Otherwise it will mean you would even allow your parents to do arranged marriages. Very wrong!

No, you side with your blood, but when its all over you try to explain them they were wrong if you're too worried over morality. You can side with your blood. I'm going to side with those who are right. I am very anal retentive about this. If someone is wrong, they are wrong regardless of their relationship to me and they will be treated as such. One of the reasons I have this rule is so I don't have to make decisions like the one stated in this thread and also because it is the right thing to do. If my brother murders someone and the police are after him, then I side with the police, no matter what.

But basically who you would value more on opinions after marriage.
