It is better to read historical literature! There's a lot of crap in art-literature! Historical literature (I'm talking about the history of some nations or regions) smells like indoctrination or boosting national agenda to simple people. That's why I think its pointless to read it. History changes, especially the one that is so far away from us that we don't know anyone who lived through it.
