We're know Hitchcock as the master of suspense. His movies fulfilled with many interesting detail scenes, with fast or very slow feeling of suspense. Being scared of one episode we stayed scared for the second. Crows ate out the eyes or the corpse was being rotted in the basement, and many other "wonderful" things were seen by us in the movies. Our hearts beat in rhythm of screen frequency while seeing another his film. Why do we love it so much? Because of our wishes and desires? Or because we're like to be scared to death?
Expecting of unexpectable - this is, probably, a perfect describe of the action in his pictures.
