How do we deal with it? Or do we accept it for the economy?

The thirteenth amendment made that illegal.

No. Didn't mean primarily in USA either. Just in general. Since it does exist.

i think black market is ok as long as it does not affect life saving stuff. For me, black market means the success of the merchant whose target is always to maximize profit within the natural system of supply and demand.

How do we deal with it? Or do we accept it for the economy? Lizzy, have you read 'In Praise of Folly' by Erasm? If you do you have to know that there are more ways of destroying Empires than people think. We must accept it.

Never read it :/ But yes I'm sure there are many ways to downfall. Firstly, BM must be accepted, and then ruined. You can't defeat something without building it first.

I don’t know what you guys think when you hear black market. I immediately think of human trafficking and large amounts of highly addicting, dangerous drugs. So for me I would have to say no! If I think of it as like unlisted untaxed sales. Then I am all for it!

Under (v) - is everything you've described above, plus prostitution, rocket selling, etc; Under (z) - is a tool for partisan war inside a country. We cannot live without light cheating, and without abilities to struggle countries evil politics, nightmare powers. Controlling of BM can be handled by the crimes itself, like in Fritz Lang's "M" (1931). The crimes found a pervert, and made an improvise tribunal of justice to him. So, we need to send some spies to the crime organization to regulate it with more sane laws.

I kind of get along with z, that people need to have a free market, free trade, that is considered under the table not exactly BM though. Not anything that is illegal and should be illegal.

What's good for the economy? Things that make things with value.
What's the black market? The market for goods prohibited by law.
Why is aforementioned product prohibited by law?
Schedule 1 drug? (high abuse potential, no medical use, and severe safety concerns) Human Trafficking? (violation of basic human rights) Some other thing that needs to be reviewed on a case by case basis?
I'm willing to bet that 99/100 things on the black market do not have the potential to generate products of value. (and if they do, it is a net loss... eg. Sex slave is technically 'value' by the subjective theory of value, but the slave was originally part of the workforce which is definitely more useful to society.) However, if the product of interest is something akin to a book for instance, then we can see that the black market has a positive impact, though it is worth noting that 'positive' is purely subjective. The dictator/state controlling literature will definitely be negatively impacted by such a black market.
