Which is more natural, to have people grouped into a hierarchy of social classes or to have them as equals.

From perspective of my nation it's definitely equality. On common ground at least. Things are different when you're in the university or in a workplace where you know the hierarchy, but when a boss of the corporation goes to a store he/she will always pay necessary respect to whomever sells there.
One person is good in one thing and another is good in another thing.

it is established in Greek philosophy that people are not born the same. some are born to rule, others are born to be ruled. if we just shift the focus from ruling to our endeavors in life, you will probably notice that people are not the same in their abilities, ambitions, and other stuff. does that justify any sort of social stratification?

I like the equals idea too. I think with this more people will be happier. But people are actually greedy and seek power so naturally the hierarchy forms.

Indeed. In high school I never liked working in group projects. There's 2 reasons why. 1) I was a perfectionist and needed an A (highest grade in USA) and figured the group can mess it up if not all of them care about their grades and 2) If there was a group then I wanted to lead it and make sure everything is done right and perfect for best grade possible. So once in biology class in high school we had to do a project in class and was a group project. This time I was happy it was a group project or else I'd fail the assignment since was too scared to do it myself. Basically the assignment was the group (4 or 5 students) had to dissect a liver of some animal. I was not going to touch that liver or even look at it. So I was like girl is too scared guys so it's up to you I will just sit in a corner here and do the small part of the project. So some guys were dissecting it and the others did whatever data it was to collect from it and I just did the writing basically. But I think all girls in the class didn't wanna cut it . But I was probably the most scared one there. So scared I was willing to not care about my grade for once xD

“Free men aren’t equal and equal Men aren’t free”
Think of it this way, truly free men achieve different levels of power, success, fulfillment, wealth, and so on. When forced to be equal, it's by force, therefore you are not free any longer.
In a civilized country everyone is ideally equal under the law, which is really the only equality than can be effectively regulated. Women are not equal to men, in terms of physicality, academically, and intelligence. Men are, on average physically superior, but academically women are edging ahead of men (for various reasons), in terms of intelligence women cluster around the middle meaning men are more often genius level intelligence and more often feeble minded on average as well. There are the same or similar comparisons that can be made between religious and non religious people and race as well.

There are the same or similar comparisons that can be made between religious and non religious people and race as well. so you are basically claiming that equality does not exist and consequently is not natural. this claim of yours, if i am getting you right, lead us to another question: which is more natural: freedom of men or having men's freedom fettered by society well-being considerations?
