Five minutes should be enough... Source: Writing a To-Do List Before Bed Could Help You Sleep1. Write a to-do list before bed. 2. Go to sleep. 3. Sleep better than all the non-list-writing people you meet tomorrow. It sounds simple, but there's evidence that it just might work. According to a small study published in the January issue of Journal of Experimental Psychology, participants who took 5 minutes to write out a to-do list before bed fell asleep more quickly than participants who wrote about tasks they had already completed. The key, according to researchers, is in mentally "offloading" responsibilities before bedtime, theoretically freeing the mind for sound sleeping. "We live in a 24/7 culture in which our to-do lists seem to be constantly growing and causing us to worry about unfinished tasks at bedtime," lead author Michael Scullin, director of Baylor's Sleep Neuroscience and Cognition Laboratory, said in a statement. "Most people just cycle through their to-do lists in their heads, and so we wanted to explore whether the act of writing them down could counteract nighttime difficulties with falling asleep."

Then you are a successful case! XD I should do it too. Tonight I'm suffering from insomnia... No sleep at all? I'm trying to fix it... Staying awake and making myself tired may be helpful.

Me too! This is the Internet is to blame! If I can't fix it by myself, I should visit the doctor, a psychiatrist. It really annoys me... My grandfather is doctor! I know perfectly well that these people especially at the age of often make mistakes and can seriously put the wrong diagnosis! Be careful! Young 'experts' also often like to make wrong diagnosis! Everywhere they see 'abnormal' people!

meditation would help, also being concious of not moving around in bed. when you move around in bed your body resets timer for falling asleep, the more "move" signals you ignore the easier you fall asleep, can be just a basic itch dissociatives might be worth trying out, salvia divinorum is readily available and only minimal amounts are required to be inhaled to shut down most thoughts
