Yeah I try to be vegan daily and I fail daily. It's always good to try though.

Yeah I try to be vegan daily and I fail daily. It's always good to try though. It's not easy because we humans are omnivore species and we like meat. Becoming a vegan/vegetarian is more difficult than dieting.

Terribly misleading title. About 38% of India is vegetarian and has been for at least 15000 years.
"84% of vegetarians" is not the same as "84% of new vegetarians in America."
btw I lasted 2 years and then I went for the fish, and after 7 years I ate ostrich and lamb. At 10 years, beef.
But the reasons were largely to do with having an Iron deficiency, which is not typical as far as I can tell.
But the first 3 months were ecstatic because you kill off all sorts of parasites and ugly buglies that live only on meat. So its worth doing for a while from that perspective.
Had I understood how vitamin deficient carbs are, I may have lasted much longer. I may yet still get back to just eating fish, and greens.
Also a good idea to keep far away from processed meat, like sausage or bacon which has been laced with all sorts of corporate gunk.
