Well, I don't think you can ever forgot yourself. It's "I" when you wake up and it's "I" when you go to bed. People might forget others though but not themselves.

Do you remember "I" when you focus or lose yourself to any action? Using your "I" to focus you mean? You still know you are in thought or whatever.

If I cut a piece of fruit with a knife, a focus on this action alone...am I thinking or is this action becoming a thought through memory? You are thinking regardless even if it's a memory. Your thoughts must conquer up your memories. Your brain is even thinking while you sleep. You might even dream whatever you were thinking before bed. The "I" is always there even in a coma.

Am I thinking if I focus on a single point, with all actions being the progression to a single point? This of course applies if I focus on a memory, as this itself is an action. Is focus thought if it Is Merged With The Point It Is Aware Of?
