Moore's law states that the processing power of computers
will generally increase by doubling its power every 2 years.
My old Windows XP machine just died, and now with
my new Windows 10 machine I have just 10% of the ability
to number-crunch in my algorithms. The given specs of
the two machines are little different.
So Moore never took into account the capacity of human
laziness and corruption to more than negate the 'advances'
in technology.
