Anybody knows - does drinking wine do something good for our health?
I've heard that in Rome, and Greece soldiers drank diluted wine, and they were very fine. Also, we can find some passages in Gospels good things about drinking wine. Many folks and in many cultures wine is something applied, something tasty, and something good.
In vino veritas

yes it is. many aryan text refers to healing properth of homa or soma, which has to be somewhat alocohilic.
And my guess is that it's either a wine or mead.
Wine is good, has lot of benefits.

Soma or homa? Yes, I have heard something of it. I've also heard about a liquid name "dversache" (maybe I spelled it incorrectly, I don't know) that is similar to soma, and it's a legendary drink too.
