Is belief in the supernatural an intelligent person’s game? Nothing that I know of, other than personal renderings or hear say, has ever been produced or provide to show the existence of a supernatural realm or entities. The ancients did not seem to think the supernatural was a reality. bigthink.com/videos/what-is-god-2-2No entity, good or evil, have ever manifested itself in a provable way, even though some think god is Omni-present and that Satan was given the ability and power to deceive us all. I think that those who believe in supernatural entities are being taken advantage of by fraudulent preachers who recognize our propensity of over imagination, which we all have, as shown in the Princess Alice experiments. I can see some benefits in imaginary thinking to validate or refute ideas but that is about it. Is belief or faith in the supernatural a worthy idea for us or is it a tool used by lying preachers intent on fleecing sheeple? If there is no supernatural god, should we not seek a human leader or spiritual guide instead of idolizing imaginary supernatural gods that are demonstrably less moral than humans? Regards DL

- And how did you know that?
The keenest mind, if it is, surely, took care about claim like yours to prevent itself from revealing, or for the sake of escaping being revealed.
God shows himself in a mystical way, except cases in the history during Old and New Testaments times. God shew himself provable; he proposed for Thomas, his follower and apostle, to touch his hands.
I see absolutely no profit trying to turn believers away from their path. One believes not only in what he wants, but what he has to believe. So, why to keep trying get believers more angry? Instead of this there are lots of ways to give something pleasure, and nice.
Smiles, jokes, kind and tender words, flowers, birds, pizza, fresh water... - there are lots things in the world that can be used to make someone happier. Isn't this the way we want to find? We should share love and peace as long as we live. Our lives are so short for senseless debates and philosophy. Such things are better put away for those who in desperate and crisis. The beginning of Heavens is here; we create it just now.
Peace.

Isn't the belief that one can change one's sex a supernatural belief? I mean nature gives one a sex, and to believe that one can supersede nature seems supernatural to me. And that makes all liberals believers in the supernatural.

I know because I have looked. Have you? No. You believe B S.
As to moving you from the path of idol worshiping a genocidal son murdering satanic god and his homophobic and misogynous religion, why do you not see the moral benefit in that?

If you can, then that is natural, not supernatural.
If you cannot, then gays can't either so why do you think god would create them?
Just for you to hate them and try to prevent them from finding life long partners?
Why do you put sex above love?

I don't give a thing about how "misogynous, satanic, or a murdering" that God is. Why should I? Those cliche came not from the religion, but from some political forces trying to confuse us.
If I meet a man and he says me "I'm not like you", I won't punish him because of it, I won't say anything bad to him either. Why should I? I just need to talk with him about his and mine life purposes, life ways, etc. I need to become a friend of him to be able to teach him "what is right".
I see a political side of your words about "those God". It surely doesn't mean that I want you to be lured into politics, it doesn't mean that I suppose you as a politic either. I see a political component here as a barrier that cause misunderstanding.
And it's not a case of whether I see any moral benefits there. No, I'm not talking about this. Benefits is a way of ethics, and the last one has at least its dualistic form: consequalistic and deontologistique. What is a purpose of life? What should we do?
I think there are not strong people and they are needed in our help. To help people is definitely good. Religions teaches us to do it.

The mainstream religions are teaching homophobia and misogyny and that a genocidal son murdering prick of a god is somehow good.
You go ahead and praise those evil ways.
Do not expect moral people to follow your satanic example.

greatestiamTo go against the argument from design is to deny intelligence itself. Descartes argument for God is fairly lucid too. Nevertheless, I have synthesized those two into a single easier argument. (1) Which is greater? nothing -or- a slug Surely a slug is infinitely greater than nothing. So to say nothing brought about the entire Cosmos, makes infinitely less sense, than to say a slug brought about the entire Cosmos - because a slug is infinitely more capable than nothing. (2) Which is greater? [c] powerful aliens -or- a slug It should be clear than powerful aliens are much more likely to bring about the entire Cosmos, than a slug. (3) Which is greater? [d] God or [c] powerful aliens At this point it may be prudent to ask how powerful the aliens really are? But that matters little, because it begs the question. We still need to then ask where the powerful aliens came from. Thus if you reject [d] you would have to reject intelligence and logic. So if we accept the premise that the greatest thing we can confirm from common empirical observation: the Cosmos, originated from the least of all concepts: nothing, then we are really expressing a belief in magic. If a stealth-fighter materialized from a rock, it would be less of a miracle than the entire Cosmos coming from nothing. Argument from God, is actually not supernatural, because it implies logically, that something lesser cannot give rise to something greater. Only the greater can being about the lesser. Thus any argument for how the entire Cosmos came into being coming from aTheism is really an argument from the supernatural and illogical: magic. Everything I have said here originates from studying the original arguments of Aquinas and Descartes, and thus is not an entirely original argument of mine. Nevertheless taking reason to heart, and living it, is an entirely different matter. ;-j

Will people follow on that stupid "wrong way", or that pervert mess? No sane person is toward this. People listen to their hearts, and their hears say that this "wrong way" is a total absurd. Evolution (not God himself only) made this. Nature gave a man and a woman an ability for union. All those "preachers of satan" claim vary of weirdness, not Christians which follow the way of Nature. Nature destroy perverts, perverts bring no descendants, no fruits, no sense. Nonsense is what beyond our Nature.

I agree. If our design, by nature, was not intelligently and inadvertently designed as it is, it would have already gone extinct.
There are enough exceptions that we think we could improve upon, to know that no intelligent sentient being did the actual designing.
The Big Bang, BTW, does not posit that everything came from nothing. You might want to revue your physics.
