So lets assume you had sibling that passed away when they were a small child. From my understanding of the bible, when you pass away you are reunited with your family and loved ones. So if I were to be united with this sibling, who would their parents be?
At the point when the adolescent child passed away they haven't fully developed a personality or been raised by the same people that I would consider my parents. So without the backstory and similar upbringing would I really be able to consider them a sibling? How exactly does the bible explain the fact that this person would be a complete stranger to myself and even my parents?

I just put up a simple questions and this quickly turned into a bible debate. Both sides show compelling evidence. Still not convincing enough to sway an actually debate.
I question what is a soul at this point? Implying we have a soul seems an awful lot like saying we have an alien inside us. Didn't realize the bible believed in that sort of thing.

The religious like to deflect to safe spaces where no consensus is possible.
Try asking a moral question and see how quickly they try to deflect to existence of god which has no end game where your moral question can have one.
Get used to the religious hypocrisy.
Have a look at this information from my religion and see what questions might arise.
Gnostic Jesus was questioned as to what sees the vision?
www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/religion/maps/primary/mary.html
The Saviour answered and said, 'He does not see through the soul nor through the spirit, but the mind which [is] between the two - that is [what] sees the vision...'
For where the mind is, there is the treasure.
Christianity does not quite agree, wording wise, with us.
Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
The treasure is in you and all you know enters you through your mind and consciousness. The mind is more of where the treasure is than the heart.
Soul, in the above becomes almost like a computer file of our consciousness which is what rises to god at our death.
A return to the "all" if you think your consciousness is eternal or what dies if you, like me, do not believe in anything supernatural. Regards DL

If i say Santa Claus exist, the burden of proof is on me, is not up to you to show evidence that he does not exist.

Antidote Against the Preachers' Predatory SeriousnessWhat's the difference between Santa Claus and Tiger Woods? Santa goes, "Ho, Ho, Ho," while Tiger goes from ho to ho to ho.
