So lets assume you had sibling that passed away when they were a small child. From my understanding of the bible, when you pass away you are reunited with your family and loved ones. So if I were to be united with this sibling, who would their parents be?
At the point when the adolescent child passed away they haven't fully developed a personality or been raised by the same people that I would consider my parents. So without the backstory and similar upbringing would I really be able to consider them a sibling? How exactly does the bible explain the fact that this person would be a complete stranger to myself and even my parents?

I do have a sibling that qualifies so this should be easy...
Well, in Christianity it goes like this..The bible says there is technically 2 seeds or 2 families. It has nothing to do with blood actually. Blood families only exist while you live on earth and not after death. So this means that your family now is NOT your family after death. This is why I cannot say I have 3 siblings anymore because one died so I can only say I have 2 siblings. I can say that I had another one though. But the key word there is had which is past tense. This means they are no longer my sibling and can't be again because she can't raise herself from death over 2 decades ago. It's not possible for her to be my sibling again.
The 2 seeds or families that exist after death don't even have blood so that's why they cannot be related by blood the bible says. That was temporary earthly family structure. Bible says in the afterlife you will only be spirits or at least His family is. So God's family are those who will have spirits similar to angels in the next life. The rest are part of Satan's family. This is the real and permanent family the bible says. So, babies that die return back to God. The rest of us get to choose if we want to be in His family or in Satan's family. There are no parents in the afterlife either only God the Father unless some have Satan as their father it says. Our real permanent siblings are all those who share their parent whether it's God or Satan because that life is forever.
Does that make sense? I can provide bible evidence if needed.

That answers my question perfectly even though it angers me to know that babies that die are no longer considered family. I suppose this is where the idea of faith and trusting that god has your best interest in mind.

The flaw in your thinking is that you assume you will meet your siblings when scriptures say that the chances of that for most is not a good bet.
Many are called but most take the wide road to hell while the very few take the narrow path to heaven. That is gospel buddy.
It is a stupid notion, as it would show an evil and incompetent god that cannot even match nature that creates us all for our best possible end, but that is the bible for you.
The bottom line on the existence of hell would be the moral implications. God killing instead of curing is evil. God curing instead of killing is good. If gods do the good, then there is no hell.
Such logic trails are how god’s attributes are found in many areas of thought.

The rest of us get to choose if we want to be in His family or in Satan's family. How can you make an educated choice without knowing what those families are like?
Your own ideology says that god is unknowable and unfathomable, just before the clergy start lying about what they say they know of the unknowable.
You would also need to know who is the more evil of those two fictional characters.
Help me with that. A good god would do as Jesus said he came to do which was to cure the ill. Not kill them. So murder seems evil to Jesus.
Who do you see as doing more killing in scriptures. Satan or God?
Stats say god but I doubt that you care about stats that you do not like.
Let's see if an honest answer is in you.

I think I mentioned it to you before. God has never killed anyone. Earth is a temporary state and we live eternally in heaven or hell. We cross over many ways and crossing over is just called death but not real death. Natural death is usually the cross over path that God uses. People usually use murder, suicide, etc. But none of these ways kill you permanently. They only take you to your eternal home. You do not die. God did not make us to die. We never go extinct. Your dead ancestors are still alive in there enternal home. You will one day cross over to eternal life too. Where you decide to live forever is up to you. But God doesn't kill you. You're eternal. He made you to live not die. And once again. God said to her do you want to accept enternal life from heaven from me then accept it. She didn't. You don't accept it either. This eternity is forever in hell.

Why are you the only rational member of this forum? isn't it supposed to be a platform for philosophy and questioning?

Fuck! Never mind... but he killed a bunch of people and for stupid reasons. Why dosnt he just destroy hell?dont you think is too cruel? why eternal punishment, why not just let them learn the lesson for a while then forgive em? And about this thread... i m glad you are questioning, i wish you would scrutinize your holly book a little so you can come to the conclusion that its poorly written, full of contradictions, barbaric, out dated,Misogynist, homophobic, and boring. I would respect more an honest god that punishes just for the pleasure of it.

And if God killed the rest of the people then they wouldn't be alive in the afterlife right now. But they are! Because they're not dead. And hell can't be destroyed if people want there to be sin. God never made us to go to hell, humans wanted to go there so it exists because of them. Congrats to them! The only cruelty here is from humanity. At least those humans will be punished in the place they wanted for it to exist

I don't think telling someone you won't hurt someone because you've no reason to is gambling in any form at all. Like me telling you that I won't hurt my neighbors pet since I've no reason. How is this ever gambling? It's called unwillingness to do evil without a cause.

I thank you for the compliment.
I am a Gnostic Christian and Gnosis made me into what I am.
Unfortunately for sites like this, when the fundys take over, the intelligent take off to seek reasoned discussions instead of the garbage you see here.
Their abuse is not what the intelligentsia take for long. I am working on being in that class and that is why I am still here.
If it was not for my view that for the evils of religions to grow, all good people need do is nothing, I would not bother with those who remain willfully ignorant of their own religions.
Things will get worse as religions continue to shrink.

Job 2;3 although thou didst move Me against him, to destroy him without cause.
God then set the limits on the harm Satan would be allowed to exercise.
You blame the hit man while ignoring that god was the don that ordered the hit.
Too immoral and dumb for words that.

God was moved to hurt him? . No He didn't move to hurt him, comprehension skills not good again. What did God do? Other than remind that you have free will like you do. Or you dislike having it and want God to remove it? Cuz I like my free will.
