An excellent example. I think such geniuses = philosophers.
Btw, what do you think about Descartes IQ?

After reading that and thinking of some students I know...there really needs to be some more parent, student, and teacher involvement for most students. But schools don't always teach real life stuff :(

A Nerd Is a Childish Self-Destructive Coward. An A-Student Must Become an Alpha MaleGeniuses should invent material things. The useless Theoretical Physics problems cited in the link are escapist mental masturbation. Geniuses owe us nothing, because "owed" means being paid up front. They should go on strike until they are given signing bonuses, like superior athletes are. At age 18, Derek Jeter got a million dollars to put himself through baseball's equivalent of college education. The Yankees' return on that investment was 250 million dollars.

An excellent example. I think such geniuses = philosophers. Btw, what do you think about Descartes IQ? I know that his original writings were in Latin/French..then translated to English language, though just based on that (I don't know latin/french) he seemed to have been an excellent writer...very clear and precise in his words/science. His philosophies are very very scientific IMO. He def seemed to be a genius of the highest genius in metaphysics/epistemology for sure and how the world/mind worked. Anyone will benefit from reading his 'Meditations on First Philosophy' work for sure! His writings are also a great work of art IMHO.. But apparently Johann Goethe is #1 on the list (though I don't really understand why since I know nothing about him ) Here's what his handwriting looks like apparently:

But apparently Johann Goethe is #1 on the list (though I don't really understand why since I know nothing about him ) Here's what his handwriting looks like apparently: The Goethe's place on the top seems barely strange for me too (comparing with Descartes and many others). Speculations in the furnace (who knows what was it in real; Russel in his "The History of Western Philosophy" guessed that it was just a pretty dark place) by the philosopher could be compared to Newton's or Galileo's discoveries. I see just only one minus of Descartes in Philosophy, it's his proof of God's existence. It was almost the same as Anselm's. The rest is awesome. I didn't read him in Latin, nor in French, nor in English. I read his in Russian, and definitely it was one of the best stylish authors at his time. Neither Hume, Russoe, Lametri, or Kant were such adorably nice & interesting to read. Sharing with their impressions after reading of Descartes (usually, it's one of the chapter from "Discourse on the Method") many students, which get time2time my e-mails with articles for homework (to prepare an analysis of an article to the next seminar), always tell they gots lots of real pleasure. About handwriting. Hmm... Hmm... I like his "to right" angle in writing (honestly, I ain't like, even scared of, people with strong "to left" angle handwriting); his manner of "up-high" is nice too (I think it is a sign of his sharping and high thinking style).
