The Trinity
God has always been the same; men however by virtue of their earthly origin have had to evolve from the savages they were, and proceed on the path of progress towards perfection. The revelation of God had to be progressive.
One thing that distinguishes man from animals is his ability to worship, and in the absence of the revelation of God, begins to direct this worship towards rivers, oceans, wind, fire, lightening, even himself, anything that beats his imagination; this is polytheism. God created nature, but nature is NOT God. To start these savages out on their path to finding God they first had to embrace monotheism which is the belief in one God; but this is just the beginning, since God is in the habit of sharing himself. Sharing is divine — Godlike.
Think of God as a flame of fire:
— does a flame lose its essence when it lights up another flame?
— does the original flame lose its potency?
— is it diminished?
— and do both flames differ in essence?
If your answer to all these is NO, then you know how the Father, the Son, and the Spirit can each be God and yet remain individuated, with the Father being the original flame.
The Spirit of God is a flame of fire.
Think of the Son and the Spirit as having a divine fluid around them which makes them unique, and also prevents them from fusing back into the Father who remains a naked flame. And without the Trinity, God (The Father) cannot be just, for justice requires the agreement of at least three witnesses.
But there is more…
In every man dwells a fragment of the Father (the spirit of the Father which comes to dwell in man when he makes his first moral choice), and when the man’s soul develops unto maturity, fuses to become one with this fragment, preparing him for the coming age.
And yet there is more…
Jesus Christ despite being God in essence, is NOT the second person of the Trinity but happens to be in a long line of sons, starting with the Eternal Son who is the second person of the Trinity, and ending with man when he had attained God. Think of the Eternal Son as The Word who divides the flame of the Father into the various entities who are wholly God and yet individuated (Spirit of Wisdom, Spirit of Understanding, Spirit of Counsel, Spirit of Power, Spirit of Knowledge, Spirit of Righteousness, Spirit of Worship, and so on). When the Father wants to create, he first finds expression in The Word. The Word himself is God and it is through him that other entities are manifested — he is the cause, we are the effect.
The Holy Spirit is not the third person of the Trinity but belongs in a series of spirit personalities starting with the Infinite Spirit (or the Spirit of God) in paradise, the third person of the Trinity, and ending with the very angels who minister to man and aid him in his ascension. The Holy Spirit is localized to our universe, and aids Jesus Christ in creation and universe administration.
Jesus is the creator of our universe, and all of us. There are other universes, all encircling Paradise, and other Christs (each of them “Only begotten” because they are not duplicates). Jesus could have easily claimed sovereignty over our universe of his own creation any time that he wished but decided to do the right thing which was to gain the experience (experience is not inherent — it must be acquired) necessary in governing righteously.
The seven levels of heaven through which man must ascend towards God can be found in our universe. All men in our local universe must go through Jesus Christ before leaving to be united with the Father who awaits us in paradise.
And still, there is more…
Truth grows.
