I USED TO NOT LIKE THE IDEA OF EATING ANY KIND OF INSECT. I READ LEVITICUS CHAPTER 11 AND IT SAID WE SHALL OR ARE PERMITTED TO EAT LOCUST AND GRASSHOPPER AND CRICKETS. SO I ATE A CRICKET JUST TO TRY IT AND I THINK IT TASTES OKAY. I ALSO READ IN THAT CHAPTER THAT WINGED INSECTS AND CREATURES WITH "MANY" LEGS ARE UNCLEAN. IF IT HAS MORE LEGS THAN A CRICKET I THINK THAT IS TOO MANY LEGS.

I ate an ant before when I was like 4 or 5 years old, it was pretty spicy Ewww that's so gross. Some people do eat them. I remember once there were a ton of people gathering at my aunt's and uncle's house for some reason. Think it was a bible study and anyone interested could come and invite people and we all could bring food over. And I don't know who it was but someone brought salad with ants. There were like 3-4 salads brought and I had to get the ant one ugh. I thought it was like some seasoning or something so didn't take a good look to see it was really ants. I don't notice things anyway so that didn't help me any. Anyway after just eating a tiny piece of tomato or 2 from it...I was staring at my food. That's when I realized it was ants. My eyes got wide, I started to want to throw up, and just was panicking inside. I didn't want to be rude either to whoever likes eating ants so I stayed quiet. It ruined my appetite too so didn't eat more just reached for my drink. I hoped my tomato peice or 2 had no ants though. I still hope even now . It's possible though because the ants weren't on every single salad item.

So they didn't tell anyone there was ants in their salad?

No, but I've met people who've claimed to eat bugs (cockroaches, crickets, spiders). Just one guy though, he was an instructor in university. Really creepy guy.
