A pro-life source is as unreliable as uber-feminist stuff.
Post the link of scientific study of this claim.

A pro-life source is as unreliable as uber-feminist stuff. Post the link of scientific study of this claim. I'm pro life but I agree with Lone Wanderer. You shouldn't come to your conclusions by reading biased unsubstantiated sources with a particular agenda. The article says that over 1000 doctors agree that it is never medically necessary to abort a child but doesn't source its claim. The website itself is not unbiased, neither is it an official survey by the government or university, scientific study, or any other valid reliable source. Its an anti abortion site and has an agenda and zero actual credibility on its own. It makes a claim and needs to back up that claim with a citation leading to the evidence. You can't just go to opinion sites that agree with you to get your news, you have to validate that what they are saying is true otherwise you'll start believing very stupid and false things. You need to research things as a scholar would. If I went to my College in a class and presented this article as evidence for one of my papers I would be laughed out of the school.

A pro-life source is as unreliable as uber-feminist stuff. Post the link of scientific study of this claim. Easy. Women existed from the beginning and gave birth to children just fine. No abortionists existed. No trouble populating the world at all. It is this time and age when people want to kill babies and need to find a reason to justify the murder. But abortion is harmful to the mother as well as the child. The woman who had 17 abortions is now hurt she's barren because of abortions. But I think it's a blessing she can't kill anymore and more women should become barren too.

Even abortionists admit that abortion isn’t necessary to save a woman’s life or health In pregnancy, complications can arise — gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, problems with the placenta, heart problems — and absolutely none of them can be treated by abortion. This is something that even abortionists, like Don Sloan, have been forced to admit: If a woman with a serious illness- heart disease, say, or diabetes- gets pregnant, the abortion procedure may be as dangerous for her as going through pregnancy … with diseases like lupus, multiple sclerosis, even breast cancer, the chance that pregnancy will make the disease worse is no greater that the chance that the disease will either stay the same or improve. And medical technology has advanced to a point where even women with diabetes and kidney disease can be seen through a pregnancy safely by a doctor who knows what he’s doing. We’ve come a long way since my mother’s time…. The idea of abortion to save the mothers’ life is something that people cling to because it sounds noble and pure- but medically speaking, it probably doesn’t exist. It’s a real stretch of our thinking. www.liveaction.org/news/abortion-never-medically-health-care/

Yes, I agree it is sickening but that's not the issue here. Elizabeth claimed that 1000 doctors agree that abortions are never medically necessary and gave as evidence a biased pro life source which itself cites nothing to support its claim. I can claim unicorns exist and then cite as my example some crazy person's opinion piece that unicorns exist and do as you did and say that there are not studies to the contrary. Also your study states that 2.8% of those having an abortion did it because the baby was a risk to maternal health so...

I'm looking up your second link now but it's kind of hard to search for because your site is a pro life website and its citation for Dan Sloan's quote just goes to another anti abortion website which says it comes from a book by Dan Sloan. I refuse to give money to a baby killer for his book so I have to search on the internet for a quote from this book somewhere from a valid source. I'll get back to you.

Elizabeth , Okay so I couldn't find the quote in the book. But you know what I did find? The 1000 signatures referenced in the original article. www.dublindeclaration.com/ The website. www.dublindeclaration.com/signatories/ The 1012 medical workers who signed it. It seems that you are correct in your assertions that abortion is never needed to save a mother's life (at least, according to these doctors). And @lone Wanderer is incorrect as the original article does cite this source.

This is good though because it's their punishment so eh. It was just to show how women are less healthy after getting an abortion than they are if they go through with the pregnancy.
