This is goddamn 100% true. I raise my hand to support this. Surely, no single players... This is a reason why I stopped to buy and play games since 2012. Stupid onlines, you're never find yourself alone. I want to be alone, I hate to be at spotlights all the time, and it seems the industry (not only gaming) is about to make watchers into the "movie stars". If you look onto those blog-boards in yt or twitch, and insta-*ing-gram, you can find there dozens of millions examples of such.
Resident Evil 5, 6 and Revelations if two kinds suck. Why to mix it altogether? And I know the answer, it's on the surface - the leftism which is postmodern's child, and which is Marxism, Trockism, and all of those that is going to destroy everyone with this *ing weapon that called - diversity.

Fortunately, indie companies still develop sp games. Ignore big names and focus on indies. You'll find many good titles and some gems. And I agree with you. I really dislike always-online games and DRM. I don't want to play most of mp games.

The core of dedicated gamers have always been introverts, and introverts are strongly inclined towards enjoying the solitary experience of mastering. For as long as there is a large number of people who want single player games, there will be game developers making them. -But the video did point to a real issue in that games are becoming increasingly more expensive to make. I suspect that what we might see in the future is that the budget for single player games will reach an upper limit, since revenue is limited to how many people actually buy the game. But in these times where modding has been taken to ingenous levels, the game experience isn't limited by the budget of the game developers. If the game is good to begin with, there will be modders squeezing as much out of it as is humanly possible. One of my favourite games of all times, Gothic 2, has, after 16 years, been modded into Gothic 2 Returning 2.0, adding 250 hours of gameplay. Fallout 4 will see a mod this year re-creating Fallout new Vegas, in addition to countless mods made to improve the gaming experience overall. The dedicated gamers themselves are, in this respect, an invaluable resource for the gaming industry.

There are many successful projects on Kickstarter. Also some publishers like Devolver Digital still support and release sp-only games.

Well, I should excuse, but why are you use this 'my man' in your speech? Really, I don't get it. I used to hear some patterns of speech in 90's movies, but I thought it probably sounded funny. Actually, I like this pattern, because as for me it sounds like 'my brother', and I definitely like when someone call me a brother. Even hugging, I see not many people use hug as salutations... Something important is loosing. That's why even some tiny words can keep something to be important. Thank you, my lone bros P.S. Yeah, I know it. Indie games now are probably 100% better than any other games. Also, many of them are free, that is really good. One of game comes into my mind when I'm trying to remember Kickstarter is "Downfall". One of my favourite indie games.

Have you heard of Hinterland games? There is a game they published in 2014 called "The long dark" that I've wanted to play. Today I saw that it was available on a site called gamer-helper.com, but it's a new site and I'm not sure whether it can be trusted. Do you have a clue?

The Long Dark was on GOG. But they removed it.

All people are brothers to each other... and maybe sisters too.

Really...a man cannot play alone anymore? You've already claimed the death of masculinity. So, no more standalone & lastmanstanding.
