I never liked veggietales as a kid for some reason. I didn't find it interesting and didn't know it was supposed to be Christian until my high school Christian club. And still didn't change my mind on not liking it . Maybe it's the whole unnatural thing about veggies talking that made me not like it. Shrug
But no it isn't racist. Some probably are saying that to remove any religious things they see. Shrug
