I'm but news emerged bitcoin used for illegal activities and energy to mine bitcoin more than used by a small nation crypto currency was stolen by hackers laundered and exchanges closed and ransacked, are we that desperate for fast money? sure it's 1971 all over again x 2

Personally, I do belive that bitcoin will replace all currencies. I have noticed that more and more companies are providing cryprocurrency as a medium of payment. So, Cryptocurrency can be the future of money, I think. I try to stay informed my reading the latest cryptocurrency news, but I think you should never invest more than you can afford to lose – Bitcoin is a pretty risky investment.

Given that mining bitcoin requires ever increasing computer resources, unless there is a breakthrough in quantum computing, the money supply growth will flatten. And the energy consumption in mining bitcoins has already become an environmental problem.
A fixed money supply is a bit like a gold based currency, but without gold as security. For bitcoin to actually replace other currencies, the value of each bitcoin has to increase drastically on the basis of faith alone. That sounds like a pyramid scheme.
