Some darkskinned Hindus are in awe of european white people and constantly laud them, and self-flagellate themselves as inferior peoples. Most do this due to poverty to get visas to european countries and get jobs over there. Some even consider themselves as 'Nordic aryans' inspite of their dark complexion. I have often wondered why some darkskinned people in the subcontinent have such poor self-esteem. But thankfully this is just a minority which is fast dwindling. Imo, it is just a psychological illness and nothing else. In cricket itself, the darkskinned Kapil Dev won the 1983 world cup, and the darkskinned Waqar Younis and Shoib Akthar were the fastest bowlers in the world at their times. All this shows that skin complexion is not what determines merit but one's ability and character. I do hope that darkskinned Hindus here will stop flagellating themselves, get rid of their inferiority complexes, and become proud of their dark skin instead of lauding europeans and the hypothetical aryan invasion/immigration theories which have been found to be baseless by scholars these days. Arya in the Hindu scriptures means 'noble' or 'gentleman'. The avatars RAma and Krishna of dark complexion were considered as Aryas. Hopefully the term Arya is now used in its right ancient context and not based on some racial theories invented in the late nineteenth century, and now discarded. I agree with all you said but the bold part is not right. At least not if you look at it in terms of genetics. Matching Y-DNA chromosome haplogroup with present population and remains of deceased ones can give you a hint on migrations. According to it the Aryan invasions, of at that time foreign people to Indian subcontinent, really did happen. That's one of the few gems of genetics.
aryans would be foreigners, to the subcontinent. 100%.

Modern scholars do not give much emphasis to the 'Aryan' part considering the damage done in the second world war which almost permanently eradicated democracy and freedom from the world.
Arya is a cult or religion formed in India, and some people, even low-born were considered Arya or virtuous for adhering to truth and justice, while some people, even high-born, were considered unarya for vicious conduct. This is how the ancient Hindu scriptures present the subject of Aryan.
Many new discoveries have come up in India due to sattelite observations and other sorts, which have diluted the invasion theories further and hence it is not given much value these days by scholars.
There has been immigrations to India from many countries and nations, and they have been made a part of the caste system and Hindu religion. This could be the reason for the genetic overlapping and genes from other parts.
But to consider Arya as a race rather than as an expression of nobility and character is a grave error, which has cost the west a lot in the last century.
As the saying goes, ' If wealth is lost, nothing is lost, if health is lost something is lost, but if character is lost, everything is lost.'

Aryan people, which invaded Indus valley civilization, were different kind of people than Harrapan people. World War 2 is exact reason of history revisionism. Aryans are part of YOUR history. Indians, on a whole, are proved to be descendents of those people. Now mixing between Harrapan, Aryans and others happened and it doesn't even matter anymore, but that Aryan people layed out foundations for all of the India.

Irrelevant, Aryans are part of Indian gene pool. Those Aryans they don't exist elsewhere as a separate entity (maybe only in small parts of Pakistan and Iran but they culturally aren't similar)

aryans were not a race. Aryan is a self designation
The term Aryan has been used historically to denote the Indo-Iranians, because Arya is the self designation of the ancient speakers of the Indo-Iranian languages, specifically the Iranian and the Indo-Aryan peoples,
and they came from these sites
Based on its use by Indo-Aryans in Mitanni and Vedic India, its prior absence in the Near East and Harappan India, and its 19–20th century BCE attestation at the Andronovo site of Sintashta, Kuzmina (1994) argues that the chariot corroborates the identification of Andronovo as Indo-Iranian. Klejn (1974) and Brentjes (1981) find the Andronovo culture much too late for an Indo-Iranian identification since chariot-wielding Aryans appear in Mitanni by the 15th to 16th century BCE. However, Anthony & Vinogradov (1995) dated a chariot burial at Krivoye Lake to about 2000 BCE and a Bactria-Margiana burial that also contains a foal has recently been found, indicating further links with the steppes.[113]
They came 5000 years back, and there have been lot of other races who have stayed here. So, mixing of races is bound to happen and it has happened.
The india/bharata which is being talked about in vedic texts is not today's indian pennisunla, but aryavarta, which was different in terms of geography.

well, if indians have to be descendants of aryans, then, they must at least resemble this, even partly. This is parshatatar, parsh means pure/holy and tatar means central asians, which means, purely a central asians. The name itself shows that aryans were aware of their places, their ancestors, while hindu nationalists always try to deny this invasion.
Indo aryans were mitanni aryans
The oldest inscription in Old Indic is found in northern Syria in Hittite records regarding the Hurrian-speaking Mitanni.[42][43] The religious practices depicted in the Rigveda and those depicted in the Avesta, the central religious text of Zoroastrianism, show similarities.[43] Some of the references to the Sarasvati in the Rigveda refer to the Ghaggar-Hakra River,[44] while the Afghan river Haraxvaiti/Harauvati Helmand is sometimes quoted as the locus of the early Rigvedic river.[45] The Rigveda does not explicitly refer to an external homeland[46] or to a migration,[47] but later Vedic and Puranic texts do show the movement into the Gangetic plains.

These are all racial theories created in the nineteenth century, and which has not been substantiated till now. There are more theories emerging as well with scholars backing this or that as per the latest scientific or archaeological discoveries.
Anyway, Arya as per Hinduism mean 'noble' or person of character, and this is what counts in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism, the dharmic religions of India, and I tend to go by the Hindu version, which is also an ancient one.
You can see that while all other ancient civilizations have collapsed, the Indian still stands on, and I believe this is due to the emphasis on nobility, noble virtues and spirituality which the Arya and Aryan culture stands for.
The roman civilization collapsed due to too much emphasis on materialism and the short-lived nazi reich also collapsed for the same reason. Spirituality is not something tangible and this is why most peoples have trouble figuring it out.
If you have any questions related to Hinduism you can ask over here.

I think, even people of harappa may not have any relation with the hindus/ or indians. I have read that their culture and warlords were similar to celtic, druids, and their warlod was similar toceltic cerrunos.

Yeah, it is all nonsense meant to dupe gullible people with all kind of idiotic ideas. And there will be buyers for such ideas as well if marketed properly or through effective propaganda. This is what happened in Germany as well during the pre ww2 period, and they had to pay a very heavy price for their gullibility.
A major problem for such people is their inferiority complex, desire to ape the westerners, and turn dark complexion to fair complexion by bleaching or other aids. Many wants to get visas to western countries to settle there, and are servile and fawn upon visiting western tourists for visas, and emphasize aryan relationships and ancestry. And many do get away with it in order to escape poverty, so I don't blame them much for using such tactics.

many indians also have fair complexion, but, when it comes to features, they still would not be marked down as indo-aryans, because they don't have phenotypes of central asians.
skin color is not parameter.

But say that to the nazis or neo-nazis. If you lack fair complexion, you are easy meat for them. Mongrelised blood is anathema to them. Those with fair complexion have a better chance of getting away with it, than the dark skinned ones even if they have the so-called phenotype of central asians.
For the nazis and their sympathisers, the term Aryan was just an identity to lump together all the white race to the exclusion of the jews. They wanted this because without such an identity they felt superficial as they lacked an ancient civilization of their own like the Jews.
