Apostles John and Peter preached Jesus as the stone to all people in the below verses. Acts 4:10-12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Only the stone saves which is also the chief cornerstone.
And these apostles encountered threats and so on from the people. Some apostles fell away later and some held on strong. Are you brave enough to spread Jesus as the stone who provides salvation no matter what?

How did you pray? What did you pray for? Were you sincere? Why did you pray to the Muslim god? I prayed by making a prayer exactly as asked. Do I detect the sound of moving goalposts?

I’m sorry you feel that way Does it bother you so much that you feel you need to try to turn people away from believing in Christ? Absolutely. I prefer that people believe what is true rather than a lie. One man's truth is another man's lie shrug You're gonna have to learn to live with this fact.

The thing is unknown, I went from doing all that to believing in Christ. I used to be a free thinker, agnostic, almost atheist. I started from scratch and I was compelled to find the truth of everything. One day while I was exploring the interwebs in the confinement of my bedroom, I said out loud with all sincerity from my heart, "God, if you are real, show me the truth." Months later He did. He didn't lead me to philosophy, He didn't lead me to Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, paganism, Catholicism or Orthodoxy, Judaism, or any other religion. He lead me to His word, the Bible. He didn't lead me to a church, a temple, a mosque, a synagogue, a cathedral, He lead me to His word, the Bible. That's why I believe, because I asked Him to show me and He showed me. Why did u even feel the need to cry out such an absurdity that God please show yourself. When the evidence is all around u? Did you feel sorry for yourself as how u were conducting your life and were absorbed in the consciousness of sins that called for such an absurdity? Were u raised in an environment that had lost sense of compassion and dignity. That u couldn't look in to your heart anymore and neeeded a guide of an ultimate book? U didn't go through all that u quoted..u were simply one confused young lad? Answer to all this is pretty much "yes". Apart from the first question. I will not even go in a whose right or whose wrong discussion with u, caz thats pointless, caz even if i had try hard to look away. Your sermons are spilling everywhere. Neither my basic common sense will go into your head. So basically i am addressing u as a person only and i would appreciate, you stick to the context being discussed rather than uttering something i never touched upon. So one more question is. How did God reveal to u as how u speak? I didn't ask God to show Himself, I asked Him, that if He was real, to show me the truth. I had come to the conclusion that there was a God, that there had to be one, but I didn't know which religion was correct. So I asked God to show me, and He did. No, it was nothing negative like that. I already told you why, it was because I had an honest ambition to find the truth of everything, that was my goal. I stopped everything in my life to do that; I didn't have a job, I didn't go to school.. all I did was read and do research for months. I had in my heart the sincere desire to find the truth. Nope, I did go through all that. Happened about a year after I got out of the military. You could at least wait for me to answer your questions before answering them for me unknown I explained that to you, I asked Him to show me the truth if He was real, and He did. He lead me straight to the Bible, and it wasn't like I was lead straight there and just accepted it right away either, I skipped over it at least 3 times thinking "Noooo, this can't be the truth, no way." and I'd keep searching, but it kept coming back to the Bible. So I picked it up and started to read it, and I've found so much more truth about the world in that book than anything I had ever read in my life. So, again, I believe the Bible because when I asked God to show me the truth with all my heart and soul and mind, He did.

Mr black have u ever heard of the idea called Deism? Sure. From memory, it is the idea that the universe was set into motion by a deity and then it was left to develop on its own without any further intervention. Is that roughly correct?

You can avoid my questions if you wish. I was really only wondering if you were sincere when you prayed. But then again, how would I know that you actually prayed? You could be lying just to support your agenda shrug

Absolutely. I prefer that people believe what is true rather than a lie. One man's truth is another man's lie You're gonna have to learn to live with this fact. That's an adage, not necessarily a fact. If we define what is true by that which conforms with reality then, because there is only one reality, something is either true or it isn't. The truth I am talking about is not subjective. What truth are you talking about?

The word "sincere" was not raised in the post I responded to.
As to whether I actually prayed or not, how would you propose that I prove that to you?

Yeah roughly, I don't buy into it wholly but way better than the obvious non sense going around.

As u seemingly run out of context. It's very insulting to say such remarks. If u are picturing him and judging him as a liar in the first place, then what's the point of even having to hear from him?? I don't want to see such immature thoughts that are insulting or u know what's coming your way

I asked if you were sincere, Clovis's post is separate from mine Maybe you should put on some glasses, or get surgery to fix those crossed eyes. So were you sincere when you prayed?

You can start with mine and work from there. Or you can just pray generally pray that if there is a God that he will reveal himself in whatever form he takes. As I understand it that's DKTrav88's story of how he became a Christian. He prayed that if there was a God he'd reveal to him who he was and which religion is true, and the God of the Bible revealed himself to him. I just prayed to the Christian God and nothing happened. I then tried praying to Allah and still nothing happened.
What's next?
Wait for an answer. If you sincerely prayed seeking an answer he will answer you in his own time. Sincerity is key also. God will not answer someone not actually seeking the truth. It isn't a moving goal post, it is what God requires.

I don't want to see such immature thoughts that are insulting or u know what's coming your way I'm just letting you know what I think, and it obviously bothers you. Hmm, well, you see, the Bible says someone who denies Jesus is the Christ is antichrist and a deceiver shrug so, remember, it wasn't me that was the judge, it was the Bible, God's word. So I have no choice but to come to the conclusion that you are only trying to deceive me. If you find that insulting.. well, you should. Many people are offended by what the Bible says, especially those who don't believe a lick of it.
