No one knows what ideal parents look like? Well, they love you unconditionally and make sacrifices for you by giving up their time and so on.

I think the ideal parent is strict enough to establish strong character in the child, but still loving and understanding enough not to push them away.
Establishing good morals, good ideas, and achievable goals is also important too.
Setting them up for success in all aspects throughout their lives, I think, is the job of a parent.

Who are they in your opinion? They use the Bible as the foundation for their family. They teach their children the Bible and from the Bible. They brought their children into the world, so they should be responsible for them by sacrificing themselves for their children and providing for all of their needs; giving them a good education, preparing them for life so they can be successful in all things, and provide them with the fun things like entertainment and vacations and such. Proverbs 22:6 KJV [6] Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. 1 Timothy 5:8 KJV [8] But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. But when they make sacrifices for them, they shouldn’t neglect them when doing so. They should spend time with them and give them attention, but not focusing on material or temporal things. They should focus on giving their children things which cannot be bought, like love, guidance in morality, and instruction on life’s problems, of course with the Bible as the foundation. Parents should be good examples for their children, they should show love and affection, motivate and encourage their children, never belittle their children, nor do things that would frustrate or cause discouragement or anger in their children, but make rules for the household that are good for the whole household, and never hold back discipline. The parents are the children’s authority. Their should be a full time mother, both parents should not be working jobs. And parents should always be consistent in all things with their children, and work together, not against each other.

An ideal parent would make this child learn (by experience) the: - value of failures in life, and the importance of one's efforts, and not the results, as the measure of one's success - value of hard work, and that what comes easy goes easy - importance of making oneself feel complete, before seeking another life for comfort (the cause of failures in relationships, which suck up time & energy of more than 90% of the population), by being there for the child when worst needed, and not being there when the child can do without the parent (in a conscious attempt to groom courage & fighting spirit in the child) - importance of limiting one's wants, meeting one's needs through one's own means, and serve the needy in a way to truly empower them - ways or means of finding peace & tranquility (so the child doesn't have to start from scratch) - provide opportunities to as many experiences as possible to let the child learn on his own
Most importantly: An ideal parent must practice what one preaches to, so that the lessons don't appear to be double standards, but indeed the way of life.
