Why are Finns considered white and Turks aren't?

This is because the Finns have Nordid and Baltid impurity! Turks-have a Middle Eastern admixture and autosomes! but both of these ethnicities belong to the Ural-Altai populations (hypothesis)

Finns being considered «white» is not entirely related to genetics alone. While many, particularly in west of Finland, carry large portions of Indo European genetics, same could be said of select portions of Turkish population, maybe less so than Finns but nevertheless. As for being considered «white», I would contribute that to not only geographic location which places them within technical man made boundaries of Europe but also culture. White, being largely social perception and molded and shaped from external factors - the Finns are today culturally far closer to what is in modernist terminology considered «white» and European. Their high rate of blondism I'm sure is another social perception factor.

Do you really think common, everyday people take into account genetics, ancient history, etc.? No, they base larger bulk of their view on very base level commoner perceptions.

The Turks that are white are mostly descendants of Slavs, Greeks and Albanians.

the Finns are very distant ancestor from Asia. Overall this is a typical northern european people!

I was never in Turkey but I know the turkish diaspora in Austria and Germany.

Here is what they look like. They are visible but Finns wouldnt be visible in Germany or Austria. I knew one Finnish Girl and no she didnt look Asian.
