Turkish people are a mix of Anatolian(Greek(Rum),Armenian,Native,Kurd,Georgian) and Balkan(Bulgarian,Greek,Albanian,Macedonian,Bosniak,Serbian,Romanian etc) populous with a hint of persian admixture. Think Turkey had like 12 million population before they had a mass influx of 10 million refugees from balkan(balkan wars) and from georgia(russian exodus of caucasian muslims) so they had quite an admixture mix of balkan people during their early years.
