I've never wanted kids. I don't hate children, though I dislike babies--too unpredictable and very few are actually cute. But.. just never wanted kids. I kept it kind of quiet but now I'm coming to the end of when I can have kids (mid thirties) and no magical timer has started the count down.
Some people have pets but I don't have that sentimental "treat them like children" attitude a lot of people have. I keep fish.
I think there are a lot of people like me and in the past people got married because that was the thing to do and then ended up with kids basically on accident. Ha ha.

Well, I have no extraordinary desire to have children but I feel it is my duty to have them. It would be if my family line just ends with me. I owe it to my ancestors to reproduce. And its not like I absolutely hate the idea of having kids, I'm just neutral to it. Although I do suffer from aspergers syndrome from which I inherited from my father and because of it we both have suffered lives. I don't know if it would be humane to pass o this on to a future generation. Also said disorder makes it quite hard to attract a woman to do the deed anyways as I am admittedly an odd socially awkward person with a weird monotone voice and strange rigid mannerisms. We'll see I guess... you could still find a woman who appreciates you and I hope you will settle in a happy successful family life.

Well I am a young guy so for me having kids doesn’t sound ideal at the moment. I’m just too selfish, you have to dedicate a huge portion of your life to them. Perhaps when I am older it will appeal to me more. I think I will eventually feel like it’s the right time and I can pass my features, genetics, knowledge, and ideals down to my kids. Real happiness is in having a family around you. they would love you unconditionally. You can wait before until things are arranged but don't wait too long. I kinda thought that hopefully I would be mentally ready and financially ready for kids in my early-mid 30s.

I feel that way when I see my niece, she looks a lot like me when I was her age! I was once out with my niece and some stranger asked if she was my daughter since we look similar. And I just laughed and was like, "No, she's my niece". And then my friend added that I had no kids anyway xD But yeah I'd so raise her if there was a need. She's an adorable 5 year old and always runs to hug me.

It makes me feel like she's cute and how vulnerable I was at that age. As for family loving you unconditionally... maybe your mom does. I've had a friend's father who died completely alone because he had pushed away his whole family (alcoholic, abusive). I have a relative I personally can't wait to be put in her home. Her own daughter wants her gone too. Recently I had a great-uncle die and he was beloved by all... and had no children. He was cared for up to his death and surrounded by his family, in particular his brother's children. He was generous, kind, and wise. He wasn't super rich but had enough that he wasn't a burden on anybody. I think family is important but I don't think that means you need children around you. Maybe if you are the only child think harder about the question of family? I'm not. I'm the oldest of four

Earlier, when I had a good job, I wanted. But now, with things changing in India, I wish I never married.

I feel that it is rich people now who can raise their kids happily. I don't see any merit of producing babies, even in terms to 'INCREASE YOUR PEOPLE'S RACE POPULATION', because, if they won't be able to survive and get the best of world, they would still end up losing in this chain of life.

Life's tough. You just got to do what you got to do. I bet you're happy it's just one kid though?

life is life and even those who are wealthy suffer in away or another. Some of them might even wish they were poor.

You are the warrior! We are all need to understand that difficulties make stronger a warrior's spirit. We need difficulties. Rich men's children have started all this mess, that fschmidt's called 'the modern culture', so we do need to fight, and we do need to be parents and grow children.
I wish you to find your love and make you big family! I wish you to be the best father!!
We will break the system! We will win!!
