Catholics are ordinary Christians, it's just that their church entered the cult of personality .. Heresy of Pope!

No, they're not. It's like the mormans who practice another religion. Why both are part of Christianity confusses me. One follows Joseph Smith and the other follows the Pope. Funny thing is...neither of those two are even mentioned in scripture.

Faith in Christ and the Bible ... anyway, I'm not going to be a lawyer for them! I'm not at all asking you to defend them, but you said they are ordinary Christians, are you willing to defend what you said? I mean, as a Christian, you should know as well as I do that the Bible never said to commission a Pope and let that Pope the the mediator between men and God, but you're still willing to say that they are ordinary Christians? I guess I have to ask, what is an ordinary Christian? Also, if the Catholics have entered into the cult of personality, they no longer have faith in Christ or the Bible, but faith in the Pope, as the Pope is their mediator between themselves and God. So, again, what is an ordinary Christian?

Yup. It's a branch of Christianity. Largest single denomination, iirc. There are a few pedantic ways I could go about demonstrating this (dictionaries, encyclopedias, US Census Bureau counting Catholics as Christians, etc.), but I'll go closer to the spirit of the question:
What is a Christian? My Answer: Someone who follows what they perceive to be the principles of Jesus.
By this definition, Catholics are Christian. If you have an alternate definition of Christianity, feel free to mention it.

This sources is recognized by 100% of Christians around the world, except sectarians such as Jehovah's Witnesses! If these sources did not correspond to the scriptures, they would not be accepted! Remember it! It is called Apostolic because it is one of the oldest symbols of faith and contains elements that go back to Apostolic preaching.

....Reason the Catholics strongly perverted the Christian religion and tradition, it is not connected with the fact that their teachings are fundamentally wrong, but with the fact that the Pope wanted more power and influence! In fact, it has become associated with politics, and therefore with money! "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows" 1 Timothy 6:10

When Jesus was tested by the devil, Jesus ONLY provided sources from the bible and nothing else. Jesus didn't say things like... "You know the Talmud says...." "You know my apostles say...." "You know the church elders say..." Jesus never used those as sources. Jesus ONLY used what God said in scripture as a source because all other sources are not God given sources. And Christians know it's only the bible that you use for rebuking and correcting someone when teaching. 2 Timothy 4 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. Even if Jesus was here on Earth today and if He needed to give a source it would still be what God says in scripture only. Jesus will NOT say..."Hold up, let me give you a google source for that." Neither will Jesus say..."We must ask the Pope about this or see what Joseph Smith says." Life is given 2 ways. Food by flesh (temprary) and scripture by Spirit (eternal). Becaise as it clearly says...Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread. He also lives on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ Matthew 4:4

Well, it's your choice! They organized Council of Laodicea( 363–364 AD). It was the first Christian assembly that recognized the New Testament for the word of God and included it in the Bible! If it were not for them, the New Testament would not have reached our days .. they saved it! It turns out that if they did not then we would not have the Word of God at this time! Fact!

No, I was completely on topic. He wanted us to discuss if Catholics are Christian and he only wants bible sources too. Jesus also did not give attention to the elders in the Synogogues. Instead Jesus taught them! At 12 years old! Obviously, elders don't know more than God since they're just human And God can get anyone to preserve the bible. Even a donkey if He needs to and it will still reach us as a donkey was used before to deliver a word from God in OT. It's not a big deal at all. Shrug

Well, it's funny to read specifically about the Catholics in the Bible .. they arose in 1054. Protestants arose after Luther. Christ and the apostles simply preached the gospels!
