One of my favourite quotes by Argentine philosopher George Louise Bourgeois 'Myth is merely reality simplified to the point where it can be understood by the common man.'

I'm not sure about Baba Yaga and Gamayun. To be more specific I'm not sure if their origin is portrayed correctly.Baba Yaga might be part of Slavic mythology rather than Turkish and the bird women are most likely from greek mythology. The original depiction of Sirens (yes Sirens). Also, the Dragon. It's worth to note that Greek Mythology dragon is very different from modern depictions of dragon which are probably a bit closer to the:Celtic,Germanic,Nordic, and Slavic mythology dragons.

GORGON: THE GORGONES (Gorgons) were three powerful, winged daimones named Medousa (Medusa), Sthenno and Euryale. Of the three sisters only Medousa was mortal. theoi.comMedusa was a monster, one of the Gorgon sisters and daughter of Phorkys and Keto, the children of Gaea (Earth) and Oceanus (Ocean). She had the face of an ugly woman with snakes instead of hair; anyone who looked into her eyes was immediately turned to stone. Her sisters were Sthenno and Euryale, but Medusa was the only mortal of the three. greekmythology.com

Chimera : a mythological, fire-breathing monster, commonly represented with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail. I wonder if there are any movies of this creature hmm. I bet it could make a good horror movie even The Clash of the Titans and Sinbad movies have a good amount of these types of ancient creatures.
